Dom Peré
Chief Executive Officer
Dom is a supply chain innovator with 20 years of experience solving complex logistics challenges around the globe. Since co-founding Marex in 2011, Dom has led the company with a clear vision: to simplify logistics through smart technology, trusted partnerships and proactive execution.
His career began with The Shaw Group in Dubai, managing high-stakes logistics across the Middle East and Central Asia. Dom later co-founded multiple logistics ventures, including PropDispatch – the industry’s leading last-mile TMS in the frac sand market.
Dom holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LSU and serves on the board of the Finding the Way Foundation. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and four children.

Paul Esser
Chief Operating Officer
With 16 years in global transportation, Paul brings a deep-rooted passion for maritime logistics and operational excellence. After beginning his career with Van Weelde Shipping Group in the Netherlands, he joined Marex in 2016 and co-founded its supply chain management division.
Paul has lived and worked across three continents – Europe, North America and Central America – leading expansion efforts and building Marex’s international presence. He now serves as COO and Managing Director of Supply Chain Operations.
A graduate of Inter-College Business School in the Netherlands, Paul lives in Zutphen with his wife and three children.

Jim Barnes
Strategic Advisor
Jim is a nationally recognized supply chain expert and former CEO of enVista and Enspire Commerce. With a career spanning decades, Jim has guided Fortune 500 brands through transformation by aligning operations, technology and customer experience.
He has served companies like Sephora, Payless Shoes, Boot Barn and Gulf-States Toyota. As Marex’s strategic advisor, Jim contributes invaluable insight into scaling innovation and navigating complexity across modern supply chains.
Jim holds a mechanical engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Cal Poly.
