Logistics Coordinator – Finished Goods 

What you’ll do

Execute over-the-road open-deck trucking operations across spot-market and project freight—precast concrete, fabricated pipe, steel, scaffolding, and other construction materials. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who moves fast, solves problems early, and owns results. 

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic OTR trucking for open-deck freight, including legal, overdimensional, and project commodities. 
• Manage daily spot freight while supporting scheduled project shipments and time-sensitive deliveries. 
• Source carriers, secure capacity, negotiate rates, and confirm equipment availability. 
• Track shipments pickup-to-delivery and resolve delays, equipment issues, and scheduling conflicts. 
• Support project logistics planning (load sequencing, scheduling, internal coordination). 
• Maintain shipment documentation and operational data in internal systems. 
• Communicate with customers/internal stakeholders for visibility and updates. 
• Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements. 

Qualifications (required)

• Experience in trucking coordination, freight brokerage, logistics operations, or transportation support. 
• Strong organization + communication; ability to manage multiple shipments. 
• Comfortable in a high-tempo, execution-driven environment. 
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

Preferred

• Open-deck and/or project freight experience. 
• Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight documentation workflows. 
• Exposure to time-critical or project-based transportation operations.
