Marex EU Logistics Pricing Analyst

Role overview

Support Operations and Business Development through accurate pricing, vendor sourcing, and bid preparation for international, multi-modal logistics projects (primarily industrial, with some government exposure). This role rewards follow-up, ownership, and disciplined organization across time zones. 

What you will do

  • Pricing, estimating & bid support 
  • Prepare pricing and cost estimates for multimodal movements. 
  • Support bids, tenders, and customer proposals with clear pricing inputs. 
  • Collect and analyze vendor rates/cost data for realistic, executable pricing. 
  • Ensure assumptions reflect operational requirements and cost-to-serve. 
  • Support bid timelines with speed and accuracy. 
  • Vendor sourcing & rate management
  • Identify and engage vendors/agents/service providers across regions. 
  • Request, compare, and evaluate vendor quotations. 
  • Proactively follow up across time zones to close gaps and prevent delays. 
  • Support vendor vetting/onboarding and basic compliance documentation. 
  • Maintain structured vendor and rate information. 

Operational & commercial support

  • Partner with Operations to understand execution constraints. 
  • Support Business Development with timely, defensible pricing inputs. 
  • Translate operational realities into pricing assumptions. 
  • Support coordination within TMS systems and tender portals (training provided). 

Growth & development

  • Build strong foundations in pricing, vendor selection, and bid strategy. 
  • Gain exposure to complex international projects. 
  • Grow into broader operational/project responsibility over time. 

The person we’re looking for

  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive; comfortable with numbers and comparisons. 
  • Strong follow-up habits; respects deadlines and keeps workflows moving. 
  • Clear communicator; able to manage multiple requests. 
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus, not required). 
  • Curious, reliable, quick to learn systems/tools. 

Ideal background

  • Education or early experience in logistics/supply chain/operations/business (or related) 
  • Open to early-career or junior-to-mid-level candidates 
  • Comfortable with Excel 
  • Interested in learning TMS and tender platforms
